Data Operations Specialist
Job Summary:
The Data Operations Specialist exists to optimize analytics project execution, improve workflow efficiency, and bridge communication between analysts and business teams. This role ensures that data analytics projects are well-organized, executed on time, and aligned with business priorities while maintaining best practices for data governance and operational efficiency.
By managing project workflows, streamlining communication, and improving data operations, this role directly contributes to the company’s mission by:
- Enhancing Data-Driven Decision Making – Ensuring that business stakeholders receive timely, accurate, and actionable insights.
- Increasing Operational Efficiency – Implementing structured workflows and automation to reduce inefficiencies and accelerate analytics delivery.
- Bridging Business and Technical Teams – Translating business needs into well-defined data project requirements, ensuring alignment and clarity.

- Project and Workflow Management

Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to bridge business and technical teams.
- Understanding of Snowflake, Power BI, and Azure cloud environments (no coding required)
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies in data analytics teams.
- Basic SQL knowledge to validate data requests and troubleshoot queries.
- Knowledge of data governance and metadata management best practices.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience
